An Antique Folding Chess Backgammon Board Box. The chessboard squares are boxwood and Rosewood veneer with a solid Mahogany frame and Backgammon playing field interior. The chess board measures 19-1/4″ x 15″ open. The square size is 1-3/4″. The Backgammon points measure 5-1/4″ long by 1/2″ wide. Each playing bay is 14″ across by 8-1/2″ wide. This antique  chess Backgammon board Box is in very good condition with a linear veneer crack running along the top side of one of the folded edges. The interior is a Backgammon board.  The finish is generally sound and has a decent luster.This Antique Folding Chess Backgammon Box appears to have been produced in the 1800s. Pieces are not included.
