Antique Folding Sandalwood Chessboard Box.
An Antique Folding Sandalwood Chessboard Box with inlaid chevrons on the reverse. The chess board squares are boxwood and Rosewood in a solid Sandalwood frame. The box measures is 15″ square and measures 15″ x 7-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ closed. The square size is 1-0″. This antique chessboard is in excellent condition with no damage. This chessboard/box appears to have been produced in the late 1800s.
