Educational Ivory Alphabet Letter Tiles.
A boxed set of child’s Educational Ivory Alphabet Letter tiles. There are ninety-nine ivory tiles each measuring 3/4″ x 1/2″. They are housed in a partitioned Spanish Mahogany box measuring 8″ by 4″ . The inside lid of the box is missing what was either a maker’s plaque or an inscription plaque to the recipient. The set of letters appear to be circa 1850 vintage.
