Lot #280. Jerger Schachuhr Chess Clock
Jerger Schachuhr Chess Clock.
This offering features an analog Jerger Schachuhr Chess Clock. The natural Maple tilt-case case measures 7-7/8″ x 4-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. This German-made mechanical analog clock utilizes two wind-up mechanisms that can be independently stopped by pushing button mounted atop the Maple case, which employs metal strips to engage one of the escapements. There is a flag indicator to indicate whether the allotted time for completing a preset number of moves has expired. Both the movements are in good working order. The clock is like new and is housed in its original cardboard box with instructions. These German analog Jerger chess clocks have been produced since around 1970.
