Pewter Reproduction English Victorian Chessmen.
Offered here is a set of Reproduction English Victorian Chessmen, silver plated and Black anodized cast Pewter. Each of the chess pieces is cushioned in red felt. The King stands 4-0″ tall, with a 1-5/8″ diameter base. The pieces are quite heavy and play well on a standard tournament chessboard with 2-1/8″ or 2-1/4″ squares. The chess pieces are in excellent condition and are housed in a replacement box. These chessmen were produced in the UK in the late 1970s.
