Abstract Brass and Aluminum Chess Pieces.
Offered here is an unusual set of Abstract Brass and Aluminum Chess Pieces. The red felt-lined display case had two removable trays. These Minimalist chessmen were fabricated from solid Brass and Aluminum bar stock. The King stands 3-7/8″ tall with a 1″ diameter base. The pieces play and display best on a chessboard with 2-0″ square. The white and black gloss veneer chessboard with 2″ squares shown is not included in this offering but is available at a 20% discount as an option here when ordered with these chessmen. This is a complete set in a fitted walnut presentation case. The pieces and display box are in excellent condition. The set is mid-20th Century, probably Made in the U.S.A
