Large Anri Mahogany & Alpine Maple Chessboard.
An Anri Mahogany and Alpine Maple Chessboard measuring 21-1/2″ square with a playing field having 2-5/8″ Mahogany and Alpine Maple veneer squares. The back is Mahogany veneer. It was produced by Anri of Italy from the late 1950s onward. The chessboard is in excellent condition and is designed to display Anri chessmen with 2-0″ diameter bases, such as sets the Montsalvat, Musketeers, Versailles, etc.
