Bohemian Clear and Blue Glass Crystal Chess Set, Cased.
Up for sale is a vintage Czech Bohemian Blue Glass Crystal Chess Set with large frosted white and blue Bohemian glass crystal chess Bust chess pieces in its original compartmented cloth case with its frosted glass chessboard. The chess set was made in the Czech Republic. The chess pieces are imperfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs to the pieces or the chessboard. The King stands 3-5/8″ tall with a 1-3/8″ diameter base. Each of the chessmen rests atop white felt base pads. The storage box measures 18″ square. A “Made in Bohemia” sticker is affixed to one white Rook and the case top. Altogether this set weighs around 22.5 pounds. This Glass Crystal Chess Set dates to around 1960. The chess pieces, chessboard and storage cabinet are in like new condition.
