Camelot Plated Pewter Chess Set designed by Peter Jackson.
Offered here is the Peter Jackson designed Camelot Plated Pewter Chess Set, produced by Selangor Pewter Company and bearing a 1990- copyright. The chess set contains 32 masterfully executed silver plated and antiqued Pewter sculptures representing King Arthur and his usual cast of characters. The King stands 2-1/2″ tall. The chess pieces are housed in a luxurious wooden storage case with the lid serving as the checkered playing field. The wood storage case is lined in red velvet-covered foam which is form cut to secure each of the chess pieces. The storage case measures 15″ square. The chess set is complete, and the pieces are in excellent condition as is the wooden storage case and chessboard.
