Material and Design
The 32 pieces are faceted blocks of clear acrylic laminated with thin Mylar bands of translucent color. Heights range from 3 inches for the tallest pieces to 1 1/2 inches for the pawns. One army reads in warm reds, oranges, and yellows; the other in cool blues, greens, and teals. The optical color is within the material rather than painted. Chessboard storage case included.
