Offered here is the Hallmark Christmas Chess Set 2004 The Chess Set was offered exclusively to members of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club. Open the “books” to reveal a 13-1/2″ board and storage for the chessmen. The Santa chess pieces represent Santa and Mrs. Claus, Elves and a Christmas tree. Ther Bears army is represented by Mr. and Mrs. Bear, a snowman, a white Wolf and a Christmas tree. The Claus family wears red, the bear family green. Each of the chessmen is mounted atop a Hallmark-engraved circular base plate. Handcrafted by Hallmark studio artists. The chess pieces are as new. The chessboard surface has slight scuffs typical of long-term shelf storage.
