Italfama Wood & Bronzed Staunton Chessmen.
This beautiful set of Wood & Bronzed Staunton Chessmen was imported from the workshop of Italfama in Italy and distributed by Cardinal Industries. This classic Staunton design blends’ metal and wood and makes a stunning display piece. The chessmen heads and bases are bronzed cast zinc with sandwiched white and black lacquered hardwood Columns. The pieces have a heavy feel. Each of the chess pieces is cushioned atop an gold-embossed red leather base pad.
This set of Analysis-size chessmen has a 3″ tall king and a 1” diameter base. The chessmen are as new. The chessboard shown is not included, but a suitable board can be found here. These chess sets were distributed by Cardinal Industries and produced in 1984.
