Step into the chivalric world of the Middle Ages with this set of commanding Medieval figural chess pieces. Expertly sculpted in durable composite resin, the pieces capture the romance and martial spirit of the Crusades and medieval knighthood with remarkable detail and presence.

The king, standing a full 6½ inches tall with a 2⅜-inch base, scepter in hand. The queen embodies grace and authority in flowing medieval gown and coronet. The bishops appear as robed sages, hands clasped in thoughtful pose — a distinctive and artistic interpretation.
The knights are fully armored horsemen astride rearing steeds, cloaks billowing, full of dynamic energy and movement. The rooks are massive double-towered edifices, complete with battlements, arched windows, and rugged, fortress-like bases.
The pawns stand as foot soldiers, each bearing a shield with a striking heraldic relief
One side is rendered in elegant cream, the other in rich black, both finished with gold-painted bases and soft green felt for smooth movement. These large Medieval Figural Chess Pieces are quite heavy. The chessmen rest atop green baize base pads.
