Mahogany and Maple Tournament Chessboard.
A Mahogany and Maple Tournament Chessboard measuring 20″ square with 2-1/8″ Mahogany and Maple wood squares with a solid Mahogany frame. The board was probably produced around 1970. The chessboard has a Mahogany play wood back for stability and d is in excellent condition. The chessboard is designed to handle the most standard size tournament (Staunton) chessmen, most non-Stunton playing sets and some smaller figural sets such as those produced by Anri of Italy.
