Minimalist Copper and Stainless-Steel chessmen, hand-crafted from solid bar stock. These solid metal chess pieces feature sleek cylindrical pieces with precise machined details and a compact 3.75″ king on a 0.75″ diameter base. The two‑tone warm copper and cool steel finish create a striking modern contrast, perfect for mid‑century, industrial, or contemporary interiors and for collectors who appreciate clean geometric design. Each piece has a distinct profile—angled bishops, notched rooks, and taller collared royals—while maintaining a unified sculptural look that plays as beautifully as it displays.
The pieces play and display best on a chessboard with 1-6/7″ or 2-0″ squares. The chessboard shown is not included. However, a suitable chessboard can be found here. This is a complete set in a Mahogany slide-top box. The pieces and storage box are in excellent condition but could use some polishing. The set is mid-20th Century, probably Made in the U.S.A
