Selenus Modern Chessmen in Elk and Buffalo Horn.
Offered here is a very unique example of a Modern Selenus Chess Set in Elk and Buffalo horn. The Kings stands a statuesque 5-3/8″ tall with as 1-1/2″ base. Each piece is mounted on a chrome plated metal base which rests atop a green felt base pad. The metal base adds tremendous stability, so that the pieces will not tip over during play. Maker is unknown, probably of mid-western origin. The chessmen are new. The black glass chessboard shown is not included with the chess pieces, but a suitable chessboard can be found here.
