We are offering here this very rare, elegant Murano Glass Florentine Chess Set. The King stands a statuesque 7-1/4″ tall with a wide 2-1/4″ diameter base. The Knights are highly unusual and present quite an artistic flair, while the Queens add a bit of flair to the presentation.
Each piece is unique. Crafted from blown Murano glass. The chessmen feature infusions of flecks of 24k yellow gold. One army is finished in clear and black glass, while the opposing side is finished in clear and white glass. Both sides are adorned with polychrome and gilt decoration and rest atop white and black marble bases.
