Contemporary Staunton-Inspired Lexan Chess Set.
Shown here is a Nuvo-Staunton Contemporary Chess Set with 32 Lexan chess pieces and a solid CNC machined chessboard with clear and etched squares. The King measures 3″ with a 1 1/4″ diameter base. The Rooks are particularly interesting with internal curved staircases that accesses from the top. The pieces are made from frosted black and clear Lexan with black and gold bases. The CDC machined Lexan chessboard shown, with clear and etched squares, is include is included. The set is from the mid-1990s and is in like new condition.
