A Red Mahogany Standard hinge-top Chess Box, divided and lined in green felt with a securing clasp. Designed for chess pieces with base diameters up to 1-3/4″ and King heights to 4-1/4.
Offered here is the Red Mahogany Standard Chess Box, designed by the House of Staunton to safely store your tournament-sized chessmen (around 4” king height). The box features plated hinges and a securing clasp. To protect the chess pieces, the box has two divided compartments and is lined in green felt. The box will accommodate most tournament-legal chess pieces with base diameters of 1-3/4″ or smaller and an overall king height of less than around 4-1/4″.
The box can be purchased with or without the House of Staunton logo on the lid. The default configuration will have the logo. If otherwise, specify your preference when ordering.
