Offered here is the Red Mahogany Fitted Coffer, designed by the House of Staunton to safely store your full club-size chessmen with two extra compartments for spare Queens. The coffer uses plated hinges and a semi-mortise lock set and key. To protect the chess pieces, the coffer features a removable upper tray, with individual green felt-lined compartments to secure and protect each piece.  The coffer is designed to accommodate a set of full club-size Staunton chess pieces with an overall king height of 4-1/2″ and a base diameter of 1-3/4″.
