Offered here is a set of the Satellite Minimalist Chessmen by Studio Anne Carlton. This abstract chess set design, with clean lines, was inspired by trend led by the Space age in the 1950s. The King of this set stands approximately 2-1/2 inches tall. The black anodized and silver metal chess pieces are housed in their original lined and compartmented box. These Minimalist chess pieces were produced in the early 1980s. The chess pieces show some minor signs of wear. The etched glass chessboard shown is not included in this offering.
