The Bridled Knight Club Size Chess Set.
Offered here is a set of The Bridled Knight Club size Chess Set. The set is offered in Lacquered Boxwood and Burgundy, or or Boxwood and Blood Rosewood. The King stands 4.3/8″ tall with a 2-0″ diameter base. The image to the left shows the size comparison between the Tournament size King and the Club size King. The pieces are housed in a House of Staunton Black slide-top lined and divided box. The chessmen are heavily weighted and rest atop Black Leatherette base pads. The most notable feature of this set of chessmen is the Bridled Knight. The set is as new and unused. The chessmen play and display best on a chessboard with 2-1/2″ squares.
