Vintage Horn Chessmen.
Offered here is a set of library-size, Vintage Horn Staunton Chess Pieces, with a King standing 3-0″ tall with a 1-0” diameter base. The design of the set is post-WWII. The chess pieces are crafted from Black Buffalo and Cow horn. The chessmen are unweighted, and the white pieces have a rich, deep honey hue. These vintage chessmen are in as new condition and date to around 1960-1970. The Chess pieces are housed in a simple cardboard box. The chessmen play or display bast on chessboard with 1-1/2″ to 1-3/4″” squares. The chessboards shown here are not included with this offering, but several suitable chessboards are available and can be found here.
